I have 'liked' a couple of facebook friends/organisations which send out A LOT of status updates! Is there a way that I can still like them/stay in touch with them but stop receiving all their posts?

I am relatively new to facebook so please understand if this doesn't make sense!

Thanks.

Brilliant elle thanks.

Another facebook qustion - what is the difference between 'liking' someone or something, and becoming a friend?
Here's what 'liking' means:

(Hopefully, the difference between that and 'friend' status will be clear)

- and I don't even use Facebook ;-)

Thanks for that Buenchico although I don't believe that we should be speaking after you assisted me in inciting all the looters to untag all their booty in my thread in Shopping?! . . .
I'll see you when we're both hauled before the court tomorrow morning, Shivvy ;-)
