Nokia 2730 Classic

Hi, I have just bought a Nokia 2730 Classic and despite having paid ten quid for a new sim card I cant the damn thing to do anything, like sending picture messages, internet connection, it was just coming up with the error message that said "packet not available" I have tried phoning T-Mobile and going on to their website and downloading a fix to my phone but that didnt work either. And now I cant even make a phone acll because when I switch on the damn thing switches itself right off aghain. It's driving me nuts. Does any one know what the problem might be?

Thanks Guys.

Sounds like Phone software has been screwed (if it won't boot properly) by unlocking, cleaning, etc. Try battery out (and swap battery) if possible first.
If you have a facility to update software of the phone while it is connected to your PC (like Motorola for instance) try that.
You might be lucky .. but I doubt it.
