Which LCD to buy?

Hi im looking to buy a lcd tv up 46" with a budget of �1200.I would like as high a contrast ratio as possible 24p technology and 1080p.I had looked at sonys 46w4500 but a lot of reviews were giving clouding issues.Does anyone have any alternative models in mind i should possibly consider.Thanks as always for any answers from users of this site.

i have recently bought sony kdl40w4000 (lcd) tv 40". i cannot recommend it highly enough! hd ready, fantastic picture but it cost me �1000. look up all the reviews about this set on the web and you will see that there is none better.
