50's wiring and treble bleed

I have both 50's style wiring and a treble bleed circuit in my Les Paul, I used a .0001mf cap, and a parallel 220k Resistor. Is it wise to have both? Or should I just stick to modern style wiring and treble bleed circuit. Either way, I like the effect of the treble bleed, but as it stands, it could be a liiiitle too trebly. If anyone knows about the perks of either of these treble increasing methods, let me know!

Thanks!
