Digital camera problem

I have a 5-year old Fujifilm FinePix camera. Recently it started producing the occasional image which was mainly pink. Now all I get on the screen is a pink image with a few shadows (sometimes green!). Is it time to bin it?

brilliant cameras ....
yours however sounds a bit iffy

couple of things to try ..... set a new trend for pinky pictures (andy warhol managed it I remember!) - rose tinted glasses etc

quickest real suggestion is
it could be the white balance that slipped ....
there are presets for flourescent, daylight etc
and there could also be a manual option
but there are quite a few finepix models ......
if you can't find the book download it here

oops ... too quick

at five years old ... I'd be reluctant to suggest repairing it ....

Thanks for that. For some reason I hadnt thought of looking in the manual. Will try to find it and let you know if I have any luck. Fortunately these cameras are about 1/3rd the price they were!
