On 7/6/14 I bought a new mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy Fame) from Carphone Warehouse. I kept my sim card and data card to continue with the same number on T mobile pay as you go because I had around £15 credit left on it and I was happy with this network. The phone has been fine up to yesterday. On Thursday I had 3 missed calls from T Mobile-all between 14.00 and 15.00 when I'm at work and my phone is in my bag in a locker. I checked the calls and there was a message saying "this call was from T Mobile you need not do anything about this call" Today I have been unable to ring out, receive calls or make /receive texts-getting a message "Not registered on network". The EE/T Mobile web site -which I am registered on is unhelpful with no facility to do web chat with expert but I am beginning to think that the phone has been blocked-presumably by TMobile. Anyone had the same problem? I'm going back to Carphone warehouse next week to see the man there-who I know and who is very helpful. What did I do wrong? I expected that keeping my number and sim card and just changing the handset would be simple!

Have you tried the obvious? i.e removing the SIM card and putting it back in again - it's amazing how often that fixes problems like yours!

Thanks for your reply-will get Gary @ carphone to do this when I go in-not sure where to start to do this-not techo savvy as you can probably tell
Do you make regular calls?

If you don't make a call for a certain length of time (a number of weeks or months, not sure) the number is withdrawn to be reused at some later date by somebody else.
