Galaxy Ace Plus s7500

Got my new phone yesterday off the internet and there is only a very small instruction manual with it. When I rang to see if i could keep my old number to T Mobile they said "No". I am not really bothered about that but I need to get my contacts off old phone and onto new one. I have tried today by putting old sim card in new and pressing "save to phone" but when I took sim out and put new back in I looked at contact list and they weren't saved.

rojash	Best Answer Probably, your old contacts are stored in the phone, not the SIM, so you first need to put the SIM in the old phone, transfer the contacts to the SIM, then put the SIM in the new phone and transfer from the SIM to the phone.
