I have acquired one of these (second hand) with an SD card that has Europe City Navigator maps on it (I can see that when looking at the files on it). However, so far as I can tell, the Garmin does not see the maps because I cannot access/navigate to countries in Europe apart from a very limited number of towns in France, Belgium and Netherlands - Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, etc. are not covered. I am switching the gadget on in the UK, the SD card is 2Gb and the gadget correctly finds where it is and navigates correctly from there. Can anyone advise/comment. ?

try logging into the garmin site , i reckon you should be able to update your unit or at least be able to contact them for the answer's you need .
