plasma tv

I think my plasma in on it's way out , when I watch something I've sky plussed ,occasionally the picture starts to turn into streaks of colour - not rolling like old tv's used to when you had to adjust the horizontal control - more like a pc would do when it starts to freeze and go pixilated , can this be fixed or wait until it goes completely ??? The tv is about 7/8 years old and is a LG

Cleaning LCD/PLASMA TV Screen

Any recommendations on cleaning the screen on a LCD or PLASMA TV. Sorry to sound vague but I cant remember what the TV is besides an LG .... the screen is not glass in texture!! LOL!!
