What type of email account have you set it up as (POP, Exchange, Imap?)

Oh, and my work head, says ask your IT department at work, if they are happy to have your email account on a mobile device then they will set it up for you, or tell you the correct settings, you may find you have security policies applied to your phone if it's done correctly though!

thanks chuck so do you think the best thing to do would be download a new email client as it states on link you gave me wich appears to be working ok etc...do you think to download that app etc is ok to do etc etc i assume it is a app that i get from market android
try it and see, the worst that will happen is you don't like it so you have to uninstall it.
