Can anyone please tell me what is the difference between TO-220 pakage and TO-220AB package please?

Well I've tried to see it but the difference doesn't exactly leap out at me!

It looks to me as if the AB has an isolated heatsink, whereas the heatsink on the vanilla 220 is connected to the collector.

Aha! That makes some sense to me now. If it's a MOSFET then presumably its the Drain that is connected to the heatsink on a TO220?
