MOTOROLA GLEAM SHORT RINGING

I am gradually getting to grips with this new phone. Thanks to all I have now sorted the predictive text and the ringing volume.
One more to go. When the phone rings it only gets about 11 bursts of ringing before the announcement comes on. Hardly time for the wife to get it out of her handbag. Anyone any ideas on this please?

You need to go into settings then cancel all diverts.

Select Settings>Scroll to>Call Settings>Call Divert>Scroll to>Cancel all Diverts.

Here if you scroll you will also have the choice to turn the divert back on to receive messages when you're busy or if phone is off when phone is off etc.

Remember, not all mobiles are standardised, so you will have to look around for slight variations.

And theres more ...... do you know if its possible on the same phone to change the message text to larger.

Shouldn't imagine on a phone of that type.
I know some smart phones like the Samsung Galaxy etc have that facility, but you could do it using capitals with the #key and being careful not to press it too many times as that would take you into predictive text mode.

To get back to normal mode you will then have to select Options here and scroll to Dictionary>select>scroll to>Dictionary off (or T9)>select.
