Tv dex

Does anyone know if a tv dex (a gadget designed for hearing impaired people to hear tv privately) would be compatible with blu ray player of sage com recorder

Looking at the instruction manual

shows that the device takes its audio signal from the phono sockets on a TV. If there are no phono sockets, you need to use a Scart output and a Scart-to-phono lead.

The device has no way of knowing what it's attached to, so it will work just as well with any other input source (such a DVD player, BluRay player, etc) which also has phono sockets for the audio output, or which can be connected via a Scart-to-phono lead.
