Pairing for Blue tooth

Can anyone tell/advise me about pairing and bluetooth generally? Problem Iam having is getting my bluetooth to stay connected in car.Have xperia mini pro mobile and a nissan juke.Have had this problem twice in last 3 months where the phone peeps like a text but then on the display in car it tells me no telephone is connected.Trying to get connected again but with no luck.Have selected both....new pairing and select existing one.No help from orange/sony erikson.I was told by someone that often you have to reconnect the service which ok I accept but this time isn't allowing me to although my mobile is still recognised in the car and bluetooth turned on on phone...any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

The first thing to try with the phone is the old turn it off and back on again. Even cutting edge technology needs a wee rest now and again. Then check that the phone is still authorised/trusted and set for automatic connection to the car.
Try to make sure that when it does work that you allow the complete pairing procedure to happen before turning the ignition off.
When you know that you won't be needing it for a while turn off the Bluetooth in the phone. Check that there are not too many paired devices in the car and the one or more of the is not in conflict with your device.
As a last resort delete the car from the phone and vice versa so you're starting again from scratch.
Hope some of that helps.
