Re - London Digital Switchover

I have a television attached to a DVD recorder and both have freeview installed.

My television has updated, but my DVD recorder has lost everything
and I am unable to download any digital channels.



Can anyone help with this problem

think lots of people have been having problems today. I do believe you need to retune (is there such a word!!) your dvd recorder as well as your tv to get all the services

I have tried to retune my DVD recorder about six times today but I do not get any channels.

What is the make/model of the DVD recorder - could you record freeview channels before?

My DVD recorder / hard drive is a Toshiba RD100KB and has been working fully until this morning.

Try resetting the whole thing to factory settings - I think it will be in Main Menu, General Settings, Reset All

Then turn off/on at the mains and it should go through a full digital autotune.

Might first be worth having a look to see if you can find a menu option to see the digital signal strength/quality to check that your aerial connection is still OK
