KINDLE & PROJECT GUTENBERG

Hi

I got a Kindle from Santa and a disk entitled 'Project Gutenberg' which features 29,500 books ....

Being a complete and utter technophobe, I tried to add some books to the Kindle only to be baffled as to how to do it, even after watching the Amazon online 'help' video.

A BIG ask I know, but can anyone provide me with step-by-step instructions please on how to copy books to my Kindle, from the minute I insert the disk into my PC right through to selecting the books I want to importing them ?

Insert the disk, and connect your Kindle via USB. The Kindle now becomes, in effect, an external Hard Drive for want of a better expression.

In 'My Computer' on your PC, open the contents of the CD by right clicking, then clicking 'open'. You shoud see all of the books in front of you. Right click on one of the books, click 'copy', then in "my Computer' again, double click on the Kindle. You should just be able to paste the document into your Kindle.
