sky tv

hi i do subscibe to sky with the sports channels etc ,but when i go to freeview there are two sky sports channels on there how do i acess these . thank you in advance

Unless you subscribe to BT you can't.
Sky Sport 1 and 2 appear as channels 41 and 42 respectively on Freeview, but you have to subscribe to TopUp TV separately to be able to access them.

If you subscribe to Sky for the sports channels (which I don't) surely these channels are included?

I really don't understand what Everhelpful's comment is supposed to mean.

Everhelpful is referring to BT Vision, which (rather like TopUp TV) is a Freeview service with extras (including the relevant sports channels):
