turning pc back 24hrs

can some one please help.how do i turn my computer back 24hrs.i seem to have mysterially lost icons out of my favorites task bar.i can't remember them all,and i need to retrieve them..hope someone can help,thanx in advance.

If you click on the time it should come up with a calender and clock. On that it says 'change date & time'
Think they mean how to do a system restore!

But of course people once again fail to give any information about which version of windows they've got yet still expect precise instructions!

Oh yeah...need to wake up.
Of course, a system restore is probably totally unnecessary for a minor problem like this, chances are the number of items on the favourites bar has simply increased to the point that some have been pushed off the edge out of view and clicking on the little arrows at the end of the bar would show them again.

sorry for lack of info,just got up.i,ve tried the little arrows,and it just keeps coming round,they have disappeared.i,m on windows xp.and it was a system restore i was thinking about.
Go to Start, All Programmes, scroll to Assesories and click, then scroll down to System tools and click, then down to System restore and follow innstructions.
