Anyone any idea why when charging laptop it keeps beeping,not constantly but enough to drive you round the bend. Doing it now!!!

Is it the laptop beeping ... or the charger?

Also, make/model of laptop helps people to answer technical questions like this.

OH thinks its the charger,only starts beeping when the pin plug or what ever its called is inserted into the side of LT.Make is acer aspire5542,not sure if thats what you mean,you've probably guessed am hopeless with this sort of thing.

I suspect your charger is defective, but without testing it, it's hard to be sure.
