I have a Mitac MT-17AES monitor which doesn't reproduce pictures or anything containing black. All solid blacks come out as stripes!

I note that the input has an "ANALOGUE" label. Could it be therefore that the monitor is incompatible with Windows XP?

Is there anything I can do. eg change settings, that will work?

This doesn't sound like a monitor fault - it's not incompatible with XP - sounds more like a problem with the video card or its drivers.
Does the PC work OK with another monitor?
