Sony Handycam capture

Sony Handycam. I have 5 complete disc recordings, 4 of which I have successfully downloaded into my Adobe Elements programme. No.6 will not download:
I can play the recording on the camcorder, I can play the disc on my laptop from my remote disc drive (but not from the laptop disc drive)
The download starts ok but eventually stops with the message “Cannot obtain all files from this device”
Any suggestions please?

prev Windows & wont play powerpoint show.Tried with download for powerpoint still no play Help!   Is this a virus? Wich one? next
