Acer Laptop Screen gone yellow/green

Hello All,
Thanks for taking the time to read this & thank you for any help.

When I start my Acer 5710 laptop all the colours on the screen are normal but as soon as the desktop screen has loaded it turns yellow/green.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how I can fix it?

you have the same problem as my girlfriend!!

Must be something to do with women and laptops ;0)
