Software won't install - saying IE open

Hi, I'm trying to install a program but it says it can't continue until I close Internet Explorer.
As far as I can tell Internet Explorer is not open, I've looked in task manager and the only thing running is the software installer.
Not sure where else to look or what to do, thanks for any help you can give me.

Look in task manager again and look under the processes tab and see if there is an iexplore listed, if there is end the process.
