Firefox 3.6.Sloooow

I suppose this question is directed more at the techies here who notice these things. Has anybody else found that Firefox 3.6.3 is extremely slow? It's almost like the update has broken the browser. I've had pages take ages to load, sometimes making the browser stall completely. Even typing into the "awesome" bar seems laggy.

Searching the net seems to turn up quite a few people experiencing this. Any thoughts? I've swapped over to Chrome for the time being. I can't stand the lagginess.

I use it and it's great. Must be a problem with your PC.

Clean out the cache and check addons are not connecting anywhere.
Speed up a bit with Mr Tech toolkit addon.

Go to Start/Help & Support/System Restore - choose an earlier dated setting.

I've noticed FF getting slower and slower with each release. My PC is very old though, so I'd expect some issues. Try Chrome if it's bothering you. Seems much nippier.

Best of the lot is Chrome in my opinion.
