Temporary Files

My Granddaughter tells me that if I type %temp% in the Run box it will bring up all the temporary files and I can then delete them all as they are not necessary and make the computer run slow. Can anyone confirm that this delete action is correct and safe. Thanks

XP or Vista?
Yep you can delete your temp files.... it probably won't make a huge difference to speed though.

Even easier way to do it though is to download ccleaner and run it with default settings and let it do it for you
