Windows Media Player 11 on Vista !!!!

I can't uninstall WMP 11 on my Vista, I have tried finding it via control panel but it's definitely not there, i'm hoping there's some other way around this ? Can some1 help me. Please :) Tina x

It's part of the operating system & as such you can't uninstall it . Why are you trying to ?

Because every song i play on it at the end it cuts out, and won't play the song properly, it's really annoying. Any song i play.

Have you been installing Windows Updates ? you could use winamp from http://www.winamp.com/ does the job

i think so but how do i check my windows is fully updated ?

many thanks, if no sucess with WMP i will download winamp, its annoyin tho i cant remove WMP if im not using it .. :)
