I am thinking of downloading Regcure, because I get some errors regarding an entry point everytime I turn on my computer. Can anybody tell me if this is any good, or can recommend a good error fixer. It says it solves computers that run slowly, and take time to load things, (which mine now does), It used to be really quick to load and turn on and sometimes freezes. Or any advice on how to solve my problem. Many thanks.

I wonder if regscan should really be called RegSCAM?
an online registry checker ..... for free - no-way pedro.

an online "quickie" woild need to d/l or u/l 2-4Gb of info on your reg before it could begin.
and my guess is that your free check it will find "serious problems" and recommend you PAY for ap to fix them!!!

the reason good apps become known .... is that they work
and when they work the ppl who wrote the software want their dues. I've never heard of regscan (in a good way)
but legit reg scanners are installed on the pc and are really a huge database of apps registry entries - taking many minutes to scan

even with legit reg fixers
Unless you know what you are doing be very careful.

if you want a foolproof fix and have the time re-build your system.

I use Regcure and find it keeps my system clean and speeds up opening programs to name but two benefits.
Do a Google search 'regcure review' and you'll see its highly regarded. It persuaded me.
yep ... It probably took the regcure team all afternoon to write it too.

I've been in this game for a long time now (still learning - don't know everything !)
but I do know that I'd never trust my machine to anything that's only backed up by online testimonials

OK there are pages of testimonials ... and I don't recognise a single site ...(which means not much!)
but look on the "accepted" sites (major geeks, msn, etc) and there is no mention.

nor have I ever seen it mentioned in the mags

The registry is an extremely efficient flatfile database ... and most experts seem to aggree that size isn't a problem ... only if you have problems then it needs sorting ... and again the accepted progs are best.

if you have the time ... rebuild your machine - I do mine every 12-18 months.

even better ... install all the hotfixes ... etc and make a backup image of the build - then any problems ... just start from there.

Remember organised crime is actually quite organised ... the same scam ... duplicated with different names .... glowing testimonials ...
next thing your machine is part of a zombie dos attack on a bank or somesuch ... and you don't even notice ..

Ultimately it's your decision ...
are you feeling lucky?
in any event
the site is probably worth every penny
Yep. Frightening innit. If you can't trust 23 pages of review accolade through Google who can you trust?
