I have a large monitor attached to my laptop, but when I open then close the lid of the laptop, my screen goes sideways, and very difficult to control the mouse, to turn off.

I have attempted to click on the right side, and drag to bring back, but no luck.
Any help please,

Most Windows keyboard shortcuts are here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/126449/keyboard-shortcuts-for-windows although, oddly, that one for rotating the display doesn't seem to be listed. Tips for those with a mischievous streak in them can be found here though ;-)...

You can rotate your display by pressing Ctrl, Alt and an arrow key at the same time. (Ctrl, Alt and 'Up' should put it in the normal position).
