I wanted to do a scan this morning and when I opened Malwarebytes is said there was a new version. I accepted the new version but it seems I now have a Premium Trial for thirteen days. I have just done my scan and things were fine but what will happen at the end of the trial period? I seem to have 'lost' the free version and am not trialling something which, presumably, will need to be paid for.

Can I just ignore it and continue to use it after the thirteen days?

It does revert to the free version after the trial ends. It's worth noting though that AdwCleaner (which used to be a rival program to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware) has now been bought up by Malwarebytes and so should be every bit as good as MA-M. (It's probably identical to the free version of MA-M in fact). However it's completely free, so you don't need to mess...

I was hoping it would revert to the free version, Rowan. Thank you for that.

What's doubtful, Danny? Do you not think it will revert to the free version?

Thank you too, Murdo. I was afraid that I might have to uninstall it and then reinstall the free version.

Thanks, Chris. I'll have a look at that.

Can I have them both available on my PC, Chris, or will one impede the other in some way?
Since they're both 'run on demand' (rather than 'run in the background'), you'd only ever be using one at a time, so they can't cause any problems with each other.

Thank you all.
Just open Malwarebytes, select Settings, select My Account, then select the option to switch to the free version.

Easy.

Note these are the instructions for the latest version of Malwarebytes.
