I have just bought a subscription to Office 2016, and whilst I hasve been able to add Word to the Taskbar, I cannot with Excel. To start Excel I need to opoen the home page, then click on the icon; with Word, it's always on the taskbar. How can I move Excel to the taskbar, please?

Problem is that 'pin to TB' doesn't appear! 'Pin to Start' is shown, but that's no good.
Next attempt!

Right-click on the taskbar and, assuming that it's locked, unlock it.

Go to Start > All Programs > Excel.

Right-click and select Send To > Desktop (Create Shortcut)

Drag your new desktop shortcut onto your taskbar.

Right-click on the taskbar to lock it again.

Assuming that you don't want it, right-click on the desktop shortcut and select Delete.

Taskbar is unlocked. Icon is on home page. Drag icon to taskbar produces a miniature 'no entry' sign when cursor is in taskbar.
I'm using W10' but this shouldn't make any difference?
