When playing DVD`s on my laptop, the picture appears squashed and elongated. I use Windows Media Player, or Media Player Classic. Is there any way I can adjust the screen image to get a normal picture?
Thanks.

You might try a .. 'right click on your desktop'.. and this should give you display settings. From there you can adjust your screen ratio in the settings.
Good luck !

Thanks for your suggestion, but unfortunately it doesn`t work. Back to the drawing board!
Is there an aspect ratio setting in wmplayer? Should be 16.9 if you had a widescreen laptop display. Sounds like it's set to 4:3. Personally I use vlc media player. Less resource hungry than wmp and can play more video formats.
