I have a Lifebook laptop computer at home and there seems to be something wrong with it. I tried to use a floppy disc last night and it told me the disc has not been formatted. There was no problem with this disc on Tuesday night. Now, this disc does not work on any computer.

Last week I got a message on the screen that said 'virtual memory is two low' so I uninstalled a few programmes, such as itunes and MSM messenger. Also, there was a problem with the disc drive a couple of days ago the computer said it couldn't 'read the device', but it all seems OK now. It just won't accept this one disc, which appears to be broken. Other discs work fine on the computer, but I'm worried that the same thing will happen to them if I keep using them on the Lifebook..

May not be your case, but the only time I had the 'Disk has not been formatted' problem, it turned out to be a virus.
Sounds like a case of "That's what you get when you use floppy disks!".  Invest in a cd writer or usb flash drive.
