I removed the SD card to transfer a video file to my PC. However I can not find the video file I wanted.
When opening the Gallery in tablet ( minus SD card) the video is there. It would appear the video has not been stored on the SD card which I find unusual, so how do I transfer from the tablet memory to the SD card ?
What determines what pictures / videos are stored on the SD card and which are not ?
Thanx advance

No experience of tablets but if they have anything in common with "smartphones" they will default to internal memory, and bar the use of SD memory for apps and suchlike (presumably for a laugh). I know when I found my SD card not being used my investigation indicated tthat if I wanted to put apps there I'd need to "root" the handset first !

Data for video is usually not a problem though. Maybe the app used to create the video has a setting that needs the box ticked ? Meanwhile try looking to see if you have, or can download, some file app that allows you to cut & paste files from one location to another.

Thanks OG, will try that although there is a Carphone Warehouse not to far from me and they are the Samsung agents so my pop in there rather than me ' fiddling' with something I am not to familiar with. I am always impressed OG that you always seem to come up with a reply irrespective of what the subject in on Answer Bank. Keep up the good work, the site needs people like you !!
