i have been using my Asus MemoPadHD7 for some weeks now, but all of a sudden (don't know what I did wrong) it has gone into predictive text mode which is causing me problems!

I looked in settings but could find nothing to help me.

Please assist urgently

Go into settings and look for something related to keyboard or input settings, switch off auto correct/predictive text.

Tried all and can't find anything!
I find with my Memo Pad that when typing a grey bar will appear above the keyboard, containing the letters that I've typed on the left, followed by predictive text words. Unless you touch the word that you've typed, the first predicted word will remain highlighted and will be entered if you press the spacebar or 'go'. There doesn't appear to be anywhere in the Settings menu to turn this function off.

Thanks. I can't get it back to non predictive and have emailed ASUS. However, just thinking further - it seemed to have happened after I pressed a button at bottom of keyboard to go out of ABC and find a parenthesis sign!
Will investigate further.

It seems I had to go into settings - language and imput - then either google or asus keyboard (whichever I was using) and de-select predictive text)

When I went into the Asus keyboard it was highlighted as 'low' so I made it 'none'

Thank goodness for that and thanks everyone!
