Getting sick of all the time spent on adverts and the promotion of other programmes during the programme on sky .has anyone actually found out the time on the normal 40minute programme is used up this way .do they finish programmes early to bring in some more adverts .just when Im ranting is it our television or sky box but when we go to watch a recorded programme the first 2 minutes are missing and it just cut out suddenly at the end .has the timing went on the box or do programmes start earlier than listed .

It always feels that channel5 have way more than the other channels.
What is worse is the programmes that at the start tell you what's coming up; just before the break tell you what's happening after the break; after the break recap what happened in the first part and repeat what's coming up......

They must think we have the attention span of a goldfish.
There is a very good and reliable way around this problem weecalf.....watch BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, and BBC4 ! No adverts and better programs...what have you got to lose ?

I know mickey4444 .I like pawn stars, last of summer wine ,how it's made ,none on the BBC now
You can tell your sky box to add time to the beginning and end of recordings.
