Vodafone is the only one I know of. More expensive per Gig but no time limit
Question Author
thanks for the prompt reply will look into that
I bought on about 3 years ago, it was £35 including £15 credit (1Gig). As long as it's not too rural, it should work fine
Question Author
and that £15 is for as long as you use it regardless of time i assume it just stays on until it is used up
I paid 25 quid (pound sign gone awol, sorry) for my vodafone dongle with 15 of credit.
Usually lasts us about 4 weeks on a good month but depends upon how many emails are sent and length of time browsing the net.

so there is no time limit that you have to use all the credit by, therefore not losing any unused credit if you dont use the laptop again for months?
I don't imagine you'd lose any credit if it wasn't used. Do you have a mobile phone shop near you? If so, may I suggest you pop in and ask?
I've never not used my dongle so couldn't comment, sorry.
It would take me forever to get a reply from them if I were to contact them via internet, otherwise I would happily ask.
If it's a PAYG dongle there won't be a time limit.

Thanks for all your help.
"3" and O2 are 30 days - use it or lose it. There is no time limit with Vodafone.
