Opening PUB files

Could anyone tell me how to open a PUB file.
I don't have Microsoft Publisher.
I see that there are some free downloads available but don't know if they would be any help.
I would appreciate anyone's opinion.

It's possible that you will need Publisher to open these files. Unless someone knows better!

Afraid you can't simply open a .pub file without MS Publisher, but you could use a pdf convertor instead, like this

According to my opinion you will need to convert Microsoft publisher file to .doc file using Zamzar site. Once .doc file created then you should be able to open them.
