Wireless Printer on a Spare Router?

Please can you tell me if I can connect an HP C4280 printer to a spare router to obtain wireless connection whilst maintaining my original router functionality? I have no other use for the spare router and it can be connected directly to the printer if necessary (or even possible) and then used as a printer server.

Possibly, or possibly not.

Kinda depends on the make and model of the spare router.
Errrm, although that seems to be a USB only printer, so how would you plan on connecting it to the router?

Hi Chuck
The router is a D-Link that has no USB port. It is a non-wireless printer, hence my question of how or if I can connect the two with a suitable adapter.
It would be a bit pointless buying a USB to network adaptor for the printer so you can plug it into a wireless router which would then have to be configured to work as a wireless access point (if that router can even be configured that way) when you can just buy a wireless print server...

Hi Chuck
As I said, I already have a spare router, I just need to know how to connect it. I have sent for an RJ45 to USB connector (£0.99!), so hopefully have solved that part of the problem. I just need to know how to configure it.
