I research the cost of ink first..plenty of inexpensive printers..but cost a fortune in ink !!!...I have Kodak all in one...cheapest ink around !!!

i was looking at the all in one and the ink seems the best, thanks
It depends on what you mean by 'best', and it depends on how deep your pocket is. I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX640 (bought new in 2007), and it's an all-in-one. A set of 6 cartridges cost me £74.99 from PC World in Feb. this year. I'm very pleased with the machine, as it's a scanner; photocopier; printer.
Buy a Kodak for cheapest ink. However after about 1 years use it needed a new cartridge every week...gawd knows where the ink went to!
I generally preferred such brand to buy printer
1) Canon
2) Epson
3) HP
I think you have been good advice by everybody here.
I have a Kodak.
Oddly enough having a scanner does save me a lot in post charges over the year.
More companies are accepting a scanned letter even when a signature id required.

Morning Emma- are you in work now?
I have used HP all-in-one models for nearly 20 years. They are very keenly priced in places such as TESCO and they have proven to be reliable.

The actual cost of ink does differ from printer to printer, and it would depend on how much printing you intend to do. If its just B+W, than the cost shouldn't be high. An advantage with an all-in-pone is that you have a home-based photcopying facilty, which is always handy !

However, if you are going to print photos on a regulat basis, then a home printer probably isn't the best way forward. I have used TRUEPRINT and have never been let down.

Also try a branch of ASDA if you have one near. Again keenly priced and while-you-wait service.

thanks everyone
According to me, HP office jet pro 8600 plus is one of the greatest printer. It is useful for large size photos and make possible to include professional color. Eco highlights, standout versatility with scan and copy solution. Efficient web connectivity even prints on the go.
If you want to get another effective printer also like, Kodak ESP 3.2, Canon Pixma MX372 or Epson work force.
