Adobe Flash Player

Why do I need Adobe Flash Player on my laptop? I do not play cds on it.

There is a problem with the latest release of Flash with the Firefox browser.

If you use Firefox try using a different browser for that web site.

It's needed for some websites - do you surf the internet on your laptop?
You could remove it and see what you suddenly no longer see (in a manner of speaking that is).

Yes. The reason I asked is because it keeps on failing on the Telegraph Puzzles website

Adobe Flash Player is needed for some websites or video watching.
If you do not watch any video or pictures, you can just remove it.
It's safer to disable it.
(From Internet Explorer). Tools/Manage Add-ons/Toolbars and Extensions/select Shockwave Flash Object , then click disable. If you need to use something which is not adverts (like the BBC iPlayer) take the same route to enable Flash.
