anti-virus

My kaspersky anti-virus is about to run out, should I pay to continue it or should I use one of the free ones that are available on line? Would this be a false econonomy? Obviously every penny counts these days.
Many, many thanks.

As per rojash - MSE is good

I use Avast (free version) on all my machines (including my android phone).

Whichever anti-virus you use, you should also run a malware scan at regular intervals - I use the free version of malwarebytes.
My advice is..."Do Not pay out money when you can get something just as good, but which costs nothing".

Both rojash and sunny-dave have put you on the right track.

Ron.
Good habit keeps virus always.
If you have good habit on internet, I suggest you install free antivirus program.
Microsoft Security Essential, or
AVAST FREE, or
AVG Free
