transfering photos

hi does anyone know if there's something not connected to the computer that i can buy so i can transfer photo's from several sd cards to a memory stick?? as i haven't a clue how to do it using computer!!! many thanks in advance

You just need a cheap card reader, something like this:

By 'memory stick' do you mean as in MemoryStick - Sony's version of the SD card - or a USB flash drive (pen drive)???

Either way, just plug the card reader into your computer, insert the SD card, copy the files to your computer's Desktop, and repeat with the other SD cards until you've copied all the files you want to transfer.
Then, if it's a MemoryStick, insert that into the reader and just copy the files from the Desktop on to it. If it's a pen drive, insert that into the USB slot (instead of the card reader) and do the same.

Many laptops include an SD card reader built in. Have good look at your machine and check for any likely looking slots.
