On my smart phone I have a selection of 7 different Desktop screens that I can scroll through.

Would this be a good idea for PCs?

One for work
one for leisure
one for each of the kids etc.etc.

I know the same effect can be achieved by setting up folders etc. but I find it very useful to be able to just scroll through desktops.
What do you think?

Can anybody recommend a good one to download for windows XP?
This is one that I have just found http://www.softpedia....cements/nSpaces.shtml but i haven't tried it so no guarantees that it'll do what you want.

Cnet http://download.cnet.com/windows/ and Softpedia http://win.softpedia.com/ are just 2 of the sites where you can search for such software.
Have tried this sort of app in the past, never found much use for it. Or on the mobile to be honest. At least on a small mobile screen one can claim it is useful to overcome the design limitations so you can get to where you want rapidly.
