DOWNLOADS PAGE

Have just found this page and it is FULL of repeats example ; there is a line of 8 flashplayers...Can I delete 7 of them??? Also I have just downloaded Firefox 4 times because it did not show on my desktop so I did not think it had downloaded. I STILL have not got it on desktop, so what am I doing wrong?? (2 questions thanks) John

1) yes, you can delete anything you want from the downloads list, it only delete the entry from the list, it doesn't delete the file you downloaded.

2) just right click on one of the items in the list and select open container folder (or similar) and it will open up the location of the file (which will probably be your downloads folder)

Hey, I just got the add-on for Fire Fox which allows me to download any video from a page which I did, but it has saved the videos as .html's, so when I open them, they open up in Internet Explorer...
Whenever I try to download a .exe file from the 'net, Quicktime gets it. I click on the download link and a new page opens and Quicktime trys to open it! I am using IE 5. The registry setings seem OK....
