Moving music to Itunes music library???

I have a laptop with Itunes installed. I also have a separate hard drive (mass storage device) with all me music on. How do I put that music into itunes library?? Cant seem to fathom it out!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I'm entirely sure how you do it but you need to redirect where itunes picks up your music from. My hubby has his all set up like that. I'm sure if you google it, there'll be some tutorial on how to do it :)

I think i have sorted it now. Itunes is busy converting all the files as I type but its done this before. We shall see when I next switch it back on. Cheers Chris
As long as the music format is compatible with iTunes, you can drag and drop them into iTunes library. Or click iTunes menu "File-> import files from folder" to import the music.
