Don't they usually go into the 'Deleted Items' bin?
If so, just click on it and there ought to be an option to 'Restore'. |

If you'd care to enlighten us about which of the hundreds of different email systems you are using it would help to answer.

If they are not in the deleted items in the drop down options, Mail inbox, sent etc, then another way would be to go on to the internet. eg I have outlook express, and account with BT so can look on the internet and these do not seem to delete things which I have deleted in outlook express.

Also you may have to look in hidden files one of the parameters in the Search.

I'm on AOL and they have a file for "Recently Deleted Emails". They stay there for about a month.

You could download and run a program called RECUVA which has the ability to find deleted emails , it is a free program and can be downloaded from any of the well known download sites. It would also help if you said what OS and what email progam you are using.

you could try the freeware program called Recuva,you can download it from the Piriform website,at http://www.piriform.com/

Hotamail has a deleted file folder which holds deleted emails for a couple of weeks, not sure about other email packages
