ipad 2 - photos

I have an ipad 2 and wish to delete some photos. Has anyone any idea how to do this please?

I was playing around in Tescos on an ipad the other day.

I found when I selected on the small "icon" for a picture a small cross appears in the corner of the picture.

Touch on this and an option comes up "Delete picture" and you select on this.

If you want to delete more than one. Go to the folder called camera roll.click the top right of the screen where the curly arrow symbol is.this option calls up edit as a choice,now touch each thumbnail and a tick mark appears. Now the delete key becomes active top left of the screen. It is easier than it sounds.
