My printer has suddenly indicated that all 6 inks have run out at the same time. I know this is not true, because I had just changed the Magenta, and all of the others were reported as OK. Does this mean it's come to the end of the road? Should I just accept what the printer is saying and change every ink?

Have you checked that the cartridge carrier is fully clicked into place?
Just a thought - if it wasn't quite secured it could have lifted slightly, which would affect all the cartridges.

If you click on the Epson Icon . You should be able to find ' The Preferences ' and one of them is called Maintenance where you have a list of problems and how to check and verify them .

Thanks for the help guys - I removed all inks, turned the printer off then on, reinserted the same inks in the correct slots and bob's your uncle - everything OK. Can only put it down as GLITCH!!
If only everything in life were that simple to rectify lol. Glad you've done it.
