Printers

I have installed HP printer softwear in my computer. i have purchased a new printer (not HP) and installed software. Is it possible to have the two printer softwears working at the same time or would i have to delete one.

Your question is not very clear. If you have more than one printer, then of course you can have more than one printer driver installed. In fact you can have as many different printers as there are ports to connect them to.
Only one printer can be the default printer (i.e. the one that will print unless you select a different one from the print dialog).

hi rojash, thanks for reply. i know what you mean by putting one usb in the port so then i would be able to use this printer as the computer would recognise this printer.

You can leave any number of printers plugged in.
You just select the one you normally use as the 'default printer' in the Printer/Faxes panel. Then you will see every printer in print options .. and can still select any of them.
If you just say 'print' .. it will print with the one set as default.
