Remeniscing over Christmas the name above came up in our conversation.
Tis got me thinking about Stan, and I seem to remember that He used to play professional Rugby League in the 50s. - 60s. Is there a rugby hsitorian out therewho can tell me whether I am recolecting right.

I'm sorry to say that I can only find a golfer as well as a stand-up comedian with the name. Have also tried Thompson. I hope another AB'er can find what you are looking for.
